Edmonds Starlight Beach Walk
Description: Free Starlight Beach Walks!
For eager beach explorers, night-time beach walks are an adventure not to be missed!
Familiar shorelines turn surprisingly magical as amazing creatures are uncovered during the nighttime low tides of winter. You are invited to immerse yourself in the chilly ambiance of a starlight beach while exploring new wonders as the water recedes. You can warm-up afterwards with a hot cup of cocoa and have a chance to share your discoveries.
Join WSU Beach Watchers, Snohomish County Surface Water Management and our local partners for an evening of discovery at any or all of the following events.
• Mukilteo Lighthouse Park, Tuesday, January 26th, 6:30 – 8:00 PM
• Edmonds Olympic Beach, Wednesday, February 24th, 6:30 – 8:00 PM
• Kayak Point County Park, Friday, February, February 26th, 7:30 – 9:00 PM
Bring flashlights, rain gear and wear warm layers. Sturdy footwear or rubber boots are recommended.
This is a free event. For more information contact Chrys Bertolotto, WSU Snohomish County Extension Beach Watchers, at (425) 357-6020, Chrys@wsu.edu or visit us at our website:
