Dog off-leash Fundraiser

Everett Animal Services is committed to bringing an off-leash dog area to a location near the Langus Riverfront Park. The Animal Shelter is working to raise $40,000 to begin Phase 1 of a project.  You can help make it happen!

The final project features include: separate areas for large dogs, small dogs and agility equipment. See the image below:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The project is slated for 2015 or beyond, but the Everett Animal Shelter is already working to raise the money needed to build Phase 1 by the end of the year, which includes both large and small dog areas. Phase 1 image below:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Off-leash play is important for dogs. They learn social skills with other dogs and have the opportunity to burn some of their energy. By offering separate areas for dogs of different sizes, the Animal Shelter gives dogs a chance to play in spaces where they’re safe and comfortable.
