he Planning and Community Development Department promotes the community’s vision to accommodate quality growth, consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan. The department has two main focuses: Long-Range Planning and Land-Use Permits.  The department also includes the Community Housing Improvement Program and the Community Development Block Grant Program.
